Family at The Animal Inn

The heart of the Animal Inn began beating in 1990, when Gary and his Wife Barbra, moved to Florida and purchased what would become his life’s work. With a lifelong passion for animals, he poured his experience into the Inn—drawing from years of breeding, grooming, handling, and showing award-winning AKC breeds. His dedication set the foundation for a place where pets are not just boarded, but truly cared for.

Alex has been running around at the Animal Inn since they were a kid! All grown up, and many years later Alex is proud to be the Manager of the place that always felt like a second home. Alex has years of experience working with our furry clients, in 2019 they officially started working at the Inn as a kennel technician, dog bather, and support staff. Alex has stayed since, working either seasonal or part time throughout the years as they ventured into other passions, from these Alex brings back to the Animal Inn years of management experience. Alex excitedly combines both their animal and management expertise to give you and your pets the best care possible. 

Together, Gary, Alex, and Staff make-up more than just a boarding facility— the Animal Inn is a welcoming home away from home for every dog and cat who visits. The staff’s shared passion for animals ensures that every guest receives not only professional care, but also the love and attention they’d get from family.
